The old house ~1166backpackers~
どうやって1166バックパッカーズの物件と巡り会ったのですが、とよく聞かれるので、
まとめてみました。
英語で書いて、お腹いっぱいになったので、
とりあえずこの拙い英語だけで今日は終わらせようと…。
(昨日、英語で聞かれたのもあって、ですね)
The house of 1166backpackers which is aged over 60 years, used to be a dry-cleaner's shop.
In Nagano city, especially around the Zenkoji temple, you can find many old storehouse which has been empty for a long time.
House owners usually have to pay a large sum for refurbish for registering at real estate office.
It must be easiest solution for these owners to tear down and build up parking lot.
Other owners who have an attachment to the old houses where they lived in with their family,
don't like to rent for somebody they don't know.
That had been be two big reasons why the number of under-utilized real estate was increasing.
But few years ago, Nanographica who were running cafe and working as editors on same street with 1166backpackers, surveyed the number of the under-utilized real estate around Zenkoji area and negotiated with those owners. It must be a lot of legwork but they did it.
After they got information about vacant houses, they provided them regularly to the people who were thinking to move in to Nagano city or opening their own shops. I was the one who got the information from Nanographica for renting this old dry-cleaner's shop with affordable price and renovated by ourselves as we like..
