harmful rumor 風評被害
地震が起こってから2週間以上になった。
風評被害という言葉も盛んに聞くようになった。
長野市に住んでいるので、長野市は大丈夫だと言うこともわかるし、
長野市に旅に出て欲しいと思うけれども、
やはり観光客は減っている。
More than 2 weeks passed after the quake.
Everything is OK in Nagano city but we cannot deny that the number of travellers are decreasing.
さて、東北地方はどうなんだろう。
What about Tohoku area?
宮城県や岩手県の内陸部の宿は避難民の受け入れ先としている稼働をしているようですが、
現在営業できる状態にある福島県内の宿も、風評被害で“生きるか死ぬか”の状態とのこと。
The quake, tsunami and radiation completely changed the situation of Hotels in Fukushima.
As a matter of fact, many hotels are able to run their business in Fukushima but they seem to be damaged by the negative image created by incorrect informations.
The negative images are the matter of life and death for hotels.
同じ宿としてやってもらいたいことは、もっと情報を発信してほしい。
メディアなどの情報で福島全体に対して“危険”という感覚が焼き付いてしまっているが、
少しでも福島県内でも“このエリアは”大丈夫だと発信してほしい。

Correct information transmission is important right now so people living in safe part of Fukushima should inform us their situation, I think.
-休暇中に立ち寄ってくれた日本人男子。うちで同室になったイギリス人くんと権堂にて飲み屋をはしご。これから一気に関西を目指すそうです！
-当日予約でやってきた、ドリカムちゃん（勝手に命名。だって男子2名に女子1名のグループだったから…）。「飲んでる最中にノリで長野行きが決まりましたが、来れるもんですねぇ」と。大好きです、そのココロ！
